Are the heads bad recasts or are they actually pretty good?

The knock off is 4.5" in height and is taller than 3" HT cosbaby. Is definitely a great buy, a good recast head of the HT Mark I and nice paint job.
Highly recommend.

I saw similar Michael Jackson Cosbaby/12" hybrid knockoffs recently on eBay. They are disturbing.
