Ah, the old future planning answer, gotta love it

You mean there will be more SW figs in the future???

GASP what a surprise

I would imagine the in development one is ROTJ Vader, they've already got a huge head start on it having made the ANH version.

Based on their answer, I think Dooku is a good bet. They wouldn't offer another Vader this soon and don't have the balls yet to make Yoda.

Well all it said was currently in development, that could mean as little as designing something, doens't mean expect a proto within a couple months.

In that list, ROTJ is the most likely under current development, Dooku not too far behind as the PF will have given them a chance to get familiar with fabrics and details, and Yoda off in the distance.

It is promising to hear that Yoda's close enough to get a firm yes of any kind instead of something vague.

So long as "in our future planning" doesn't mean it's on the list of stuff we want to do someday or other. :lol

It could mean Yoda's on the list of things they hope to put out for 2012, and I really don't care, I think it's a firm enough response that effort is going into him or that he's viewed as a figure they can make, either way.

No matter what, it's a response that wipes away and thoughts that we won't ever see him because he's not doable.

That's why I'm relieved, he's very important to Star Wars and a Star Wars collection, so getting some word that makes him pretty much a certainty at some point is a relief.

Dooku's easy and should have been in our hands already.

I'm glad he hasn't been yet though. I think Dooku would benefit from a sculpt with very fine detailing to his hair and beard, some of the early sculpts in the line were softer in that regard and a Dooku like that would probably have come out about equal to Hasbro's effort. Hasbro has a great Dooku portrait, the only areas Sideshow can really top it would be more finer detailing because Hasbro's is basic, and of course much better paint apps, but the Lee resemblance and emotional expression were great on that one. Not often you can say Hasbro set a bar for Sideshow to beat, but Dooku's one of them I think.
