Is this BESTA unit any good?

I was thinking of buying this particular BESTA unit:

It says it has doors to keep it dust-free, but I can't see if there are gaps around the doors or if it covers all gaps. I was wondering if anyone had this, if you could tell me about it and whether or not you recommend it? I was also wondering if it is possible to have them make all the doors see-through and not have those white panels blocking the view?

I suppose you are mainly interested in the body or frame of that one that you have shown? I have a couple of those, and I use the glass doors that fit each compartment.

Thanks for the link! I didn't know there was a sub-thread to that section. That setup looks amazing! I definitely want to get something like that with those doors, or the ones with the thicker borders, I have yet to decide. I only have 1/6 figures so I was wondering if you knew roughly how many could fit in a unit? What combination is that? Thanks. You can have quite a lot of 1/6 in one unit. I have seen people make two levels within one compartment. That way having some pieces in the front, and then some pieces behind them, a little raised. I'm sure you can find some pictures of this in the abovementioned thread.

My setup is comprised of several individual BESTAs. I go over them in this video.



Basically, starting from the left, I have a:

1x one-level double
1x three-level single
1x three-level double
1x two-level single

If that makes sense.

Perfectly clear Thanks, mate! Do those doors cover the unit without any gaps, or are there small gaps like the Detolf?

There are small gaps. But I doubt it would be a problem finding and attaching something that would close the gap gently.
