And the ferw pics that come in make me feel like a crack whore starving for my fix.

At least my computer is showing the right pics on the product page now....

It's like the Saga Ultra figure all over again for me, only a billion times worse cuz this isn't like a new figure that stands out from other versions before it, this is, in my mind, the definitive Jabba 3D incarnation and nothing will ever surpass it's accurracy in representing the Return of the Jedi appearance of teh character, which happens to be my favorite. When I get him, I'm going to rever to the 5 year old on Christmas morning that lit up to tear through wrapping paper to find his favorite slug from a galaxy far far away before him and his to enjoy and play with, and at the moment, I still have that classic, beautiful toy out to get me through the wait for the Sideshow beauty. The more I see the final production and in hands images of him, the more I'm thinking, he takes number 2 in my most wanted and anticipated item in this line, just behind Darth Maul, moving ahead of Obi-Wan. It's so odd, but I just love this character and this appearance, this figure is going to mean as much to me as the '83 Jabba.

That will be me the day I know its coming. I won't stay at work long that day.

Due to the signature requirements for shipping he'll be shipping to my office so he can be signed for, so I won't have to leave work, but I won't want to end my lunch break too soon, and then I won't be able to get home quick enough when the day is done. The good news is, even as large as he is, it'll just be a matter of taking off the top half of the foam and taking him out of the bag, minimal work to get him out and put him back for the ride home, which'll be good. I wonder if his shipping box will have artwork on it too, the only large item I've gotten like that was the Maul 1:1 bust, but that was nice too.

I only hope that Jabba can be signed for when he arrives. There is nothing worse than looking forward to something like that, only to get the stupid sticker telling you that they tried to make a delivery!

Ya, I luck out that my company let's us use the post office and UPS/DHL/FedEx systems to do whatever we need to there. After I had to play games with MR because they invoked a signature policy just as they shipped a saber to me and no one was home when they first came, I've had all of my stuff that needs signatures sent to work. I'm glad Jabba and throne will be out soon, I'm looking at moving into an appartment sometime after the first quarter, and not knowing where I'll end up, I would hate to have Jabba left in front of a door in some appartment complex where I don't know the neighbors and things, I've been wanting him for so long I might actually cry if he got ripped off.

Side note: Just got a popup from yahoo mail, jumped for a second hoping it was a Jabba notice, not this time either, sighhh

We usually get stuff from UPS at work but not much in the way of Fed Ex. May have to work something out before then.

Ooh. The cleaners or my neighbor usually accept my packages. They're gonna be pissed when they see the size of this thing!

Is this kind of statement in the right thread? :naughty

I just noticed that my Jabba is listed as "Processing". I haven't checked it awhile, so I'm not sure how long it's been like that.

I think since the orders for the throne, Jabba and crumb are bundled... once one is processing the others are as well. Even if they aren't anywhere near being shipped.

The only thing I have coming from SS is the Throne. I got Jabba and Salacious from Adam. I really hope the Throne and Jabba ship at relatively the same time.

I'm looking forward to seeing some side-by-sides with the Illusive Concepts maquette. You know, it's funny. I've seen quite a few of the IC's now, and NONE of them were as well painted as mine was. And mine is still in excellent condition. I wonder if anyone just bought the throne and is going to just tear the IC off of it's wood base and put him on the throne. I really wonder about the scale, because the IC always seemed to be in perfect 1/6 scale next to my Hasbros.
