Well I was hoping to purchase a even piell headsculpt from a board member, but it appears that it's fallen through. With that said I've decided to attempt to make a custom from scratch. I really hope this works out. So I'm looking for suggestion and expertise from other member to achieve the best possible results. So if there are any flaws with my plan or a better way to accomplish my goal please don't hesitate to tell me. I want the figure to look as close to a sideshow figure as possible so that it fits right in with my other Jedi.

So my plan:

Step 1. use a sideshow Samwise Gamgee figures body and head. (Hair removed) I was going to resculpt the rest of the scalp and ears with green stuff. But I'm not sure if green stuff is the best material for sculpting . Any suggestions?

Step 2. Use the boots and clothing from a episode 1 kid anakin. I'm going to dye those close with rit (brown or black) dye. I'll resculpt the boots to make them look like a Jedi leathery look.

step 3. Possible use a sideshow Jedi Luke tunic (Dyed brown) to give him a Jedi feel. This tunic is short but may end up being to big. I'll also be using Luke's Star Wars stand and Jedi Blade on a custom hilt.

Ok so I've started stage 2. I've applied my 1st coat of paint I wanted to see how he'd look.I decided to put his pony tail on a swivel peg so that I could pose it when I wanted. I've gotta do some touch up in some areas and I may snip the ears a little. I Think I may have exaggerated on the ears a lil bit. What do you guys thinkk of the ears leave them as is or make them smaller?

They look great to me!!!
Keep in mind with clothing on, the ears will seem smaller.

Outstanding!

I think the size of the ears looks really good... if you are still concerned at all that they are too big... I agree with Username - putting clothes on him will make the ears look smaller.

So I decided to take Nates advise and fatten the face slightly, I trimmed the ears, added the brows and repositioned ponytail. Im almost tempted to reposition the mouth closer to his nose. I'll sand everything down and down once it drys. Also I modified & dyed a extra Plo koon rope I had to see what it would look like.
