Seriously, this actually happened.

North East, Pa. (AP) - State police say a burglar entered a northwestern Pennsylvania home, took some jellybeans and nothing else, and left.

Police are stumped by the burglary in North East Township on Friday night. Not only don't they have a suspect, they're not sure why anybody would go to all that trouble to steal only jellybeans.

Police say the burglar broke a front door window between 7 p.m. and midnight and took only some jellybeans sitting on a dining room table. ABC 27 Talkback:

Police say nothing else in the home was missing or moved.

North East is about 10 miles northeast of Erie.

Years ago, my cousin's bike was stolen from his backyard and a crappy one was left in it's place. That one too was stolen a few days later!
