Hey guys:
Do you like to see the behind the scenes secrets that make a monster or collectible statue come to life? Well, you can experience a slice of that magic "first hand" at Jerseyfest.
In case you are not aware of the Jerseyfest seminars and "hands" on kit painting class, see highlights below. We have 16 students so far. Get all the rest of the details, including registration info and class options here: https://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=47
The following special events and products are included with the prepaid cost of admission at Jerseyfest on Friday, August 3rd from 10:00AM to 6:30PM:
First kit painting seminar given by Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine's Steve Parke: Painting a Creature/Gillman
Second kit painting seminar given by Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine's Rick Cantu: Painting an Alien
“Hands On” Kit Painting Class conducted by magazine writers Saul Alvarez and Jim Capone
-You’ll receive a life-sized resin bust from “Curse of the Werewolf” by Black Heart Enterprises!
-You’ll receive various supplies and have the option to purchase terrific new airbrushes and compressors at significantly discounted prices!
-You’ll receive discount coupons for the purchase of kits and paints!
You'll get to see many great kit painting techniques "close-up", including the nuances of what these great artists do to make a kit go from good to great and make a monster come alive!!
The class will teach basic and advanced techniques on painting a resin model kit. It will look to advance the students’ skills by having them paint and walk away with an amazing life-sized, resin, monster bust. Throughout the class, the instructors will be painting the bust at the same time that students paint theirs, so students will be able to see them perform each step as they paint their own kit.
Throughout the day and evening, we will be socializing and having a great time in the spirit of the old Jerseyfest party days with food, drink and lots of laughs. We are going to be talking kits and statues all day long. Hanging with us will be great hobby contributors Shane Foulkes, George Stephenson, Mike Wallace and Terry Webb. The professional classroom that the events will be held in is over 2,200 square feet - it's a beautiful room.
The value you would be getting for the instruction for the day, kit and products is phenomenal. See cost info here: https://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=315
You can learn all about our super talented instructors for the day by going here: https://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=207
Please consider joining us!! And of course this is just the warm up for the vendor show the next day, which will be loaded with many of the hobby's best vendors, artists, kits, statues, supplies, demos, and an awesome contest/exhibit.
Hope to see you there !
