Jim Morrison of the Doors 1/6 sculpt

Hi all-

I've been working on a sculpt of Jim Morrison. I tried some new techniques like skin texture on this one. What do you think?

Sorry for the crummy photos. BTW: is there a thread or something that has details tips for taking good photos? Like what kind of camera, lighting tips, etc? Thanks!

Well, it's a lot better than anything I could do!
As for constructive criticism, I think the whole thing looks too fat. Maybe if you trimmed it all around, without touching the center of the face (eyes, nose, lips) you could get a lot closer to Big Jim.
Great start though!

Hmmm. Thanks for the crit. It was tough to find a trully straight on shot of him. Usually, his head was tilted down and he was looking thru his eyebrows, but I found a mugshot that was straight on and his head looks kinda square.
I wonder if it's the lighting or something, it doesn't seem wide in person....
