Well since I am waiting around for HT to make an armored version, I decided a suit up version would be awesome to have for now. Nothing special here, just stripped off the robe, repainted the shoulder/chest armor and reattached the cape to the inside of the shoulder armor. I am using the flight stand as the armature that suits Jor-El up.
I had a hard time trying to match the colors from the movie for his armor. Did multiple shades from yellow to mix of gold and yellow for a reflective feel, some black wash and ended up looking like gold. Not what I had intended and wasn't to happy with it at first, but the more I looked at it the more it kind of grew on me. So I am leaving it for now. So after some contemplating, I decided to give it one more try to get closer to screen accuracy. I think this is about as close as I am going to get, but looks much better than the gold I had before.
Tell me what you guys think, I can take critiscism.
