Just received my General Grevious 1:4

Hi guys. Just got this in today. No time to really unbox him. Just gave him a once over.

Overall, I'm happy except for the one breakage i've spotted so far.

The seller did insure it, just not sure if i can make a partial claim for this.

Emailed the seller (ebay though) and am hoping for the best.

sounds familiar. i took delivery of my second one last week and that was damaged like the first. it was the legs on the first one and the second it was the arms AND legs.
check the pieces that connect near the ankles as they seem easy to snap and come away but remain connected at the top.

Congrats on getting the Ultimate PF there is, I got mine last week and I really don't see how anything can top this piece Sorry about the breakage. Same thing happened to my Anakin PF EX a couple weeks ago and SS sent me a whole brand new one. Give them a call right now, they're the best

well i just gave it a closer look. looks like the ankles came out ok. just this one break.

just a question. does the exclusive come with a diff box? mine has the cloak and its even written on the base that its the ex, just no sticker.

thought i would ask.

Hey James, the exclusive stickers are easily fall off the boxes. I have some exclusive boxes without the stickers. I dont think its such a big deal.

Here, look what my 3 years old son did to my Grievous. He try to lift it while i am too busy move other statues around.

i've had both and the exclusive had a different box, it may just be a sticker, cant remember and the box is downstairs. on the exc though he's shown wearing his cape. on the regular, he's not.

Sorry to hear about your breakage. Mine was damaged when i recieved mine as well and i jus reglued it myself. I guess what would be the quad mechanical muscle was where mine broke underneath. I would agree as well with some of the other comments that this is IMO the best PF made to date and the cape is a must.

Another user here, me, that receives a broken General Grievous, in my statue, was the knee left part of the left leg that comes separate of the statue. Was easy to fix, but is a very fragile statue. Anyway, is a incredible PF.

Just accept it....this guy is going to arrive with some possible damage or get damage in the future lol
He's just too fragile and space consuming.
He's my first kinda regrettable purchase.

actually, i'm not too upset about it. its just a minor quibble. its a clean break and its on the lightsaber hilt which won't be visible when he's holding it.

I guess its just human tendency to expect things not to be broken when they come out that's all

Sideshow's styrofoam packzging is really horrible. When I got my Grievous shipped, the seller bubble wrapped each individual piece & put a ton of peanuts in the box. It was very secure unlike sideshow packaging where it tends to move abit inside.

ok. the ordeal of waiting is over. Now to the good part. I sold my wolf bust the last week and this guy got to come out

Got to say that I'm surprised there was no other damage aside from the lightsaber handle. It is a freakingly fragile piece with many parts. Was sweating the whole time i put him together

Sorry to hear about the break....... If there's one PF that I'd sell LAST it would be this one. The figure is so skinny and fragile, I'd hate to try and box it up and make sure it doesn't get damaged in transit..... Good luck with the repair, and congrats on getting this
