Just Won My First WETA on Ebay!!

The first piece in my collection will be Sauron! Seller accepted my "best offer" of 180.00 I am very pleased. One of the top 5 pieces I want. It's unopened so I'm hoping for a mint one. I'll check for an intact seal of course. Feels nice to join the ranks!

i assume this is your first weta piece and you got it from ebay? and not this is your first weta via ebay and you had all others from sideshow directly.

in that case, congrats! some may beg to differ of course but i feel one's lotr collection cannot be without the lord of the ring himself.

what a way (and price) to start with buying the biggest polystone lotr figure as the 1st piece. that's it for you, once the 1st piece arrives... others more will follow!

Congrats! That's an awesome price for an awesome piece. I assure you that if Sauron was an ES of 1000 or less, it would dwarf the Balrog and Cave Troll in secondary market price. Although I still love the USS the most, Sauron is the best Sideshow piece all things considered.

Oh, and be very careful with the helm. It's loose and not attached to the statue so if you are moving the statue to a shelf or table, make sure the helm is not attached or it may fall off and crash to the floor, breaking two of the spikes and bringing tears to your eyes...*

Well.....I always consider that I am not able to get #8711... that is gtb.. so 4 pieces... maybe I should correct that... =)
