I just read somewhere that Whedon is shooting a new ending for the movie. Sounds like he's revamping everything. Is he getting a co director credit too?

Yep they'll both get credit however neither is reportedly pleased with the other's work.

Therefore it will be "Justice League directed by Alan Smithee and Alan Smithee."
