Still cant believe we are getting a JL movie with only superman and WW having a solid place in the universe (back story).

So... pretty much just like the first "Justice League" cartoon's episode.

Is there any precedent for a movie undergoing extensive reshoots that were incorporated seamlessly into the movie causing it to ultimately be a massive critical and commercial success as well as appeasing diehard fans?

There has to be one rogue movie out there that fits your description.

Ragnarok: excited to see some favorite heroes in a new and different thor adventure which brings us closer to a 10 year experience culminating in IW.[emoji16]

JL: interested to see wtf wb/snyder does this time with my 2 fav characters growing up路*[emoji53]

It was 2 parter then changed to 1. Better cuz wb is not good at announcements and sticking to it like that other company. And since each release is such a "gamble" best they just take it a step at a time. WW finally set a blueprint within their own company they can follow now. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad. The movie was definitely good but also definitely not the best thing since slices bread[emoji849]

Yeah i don't see what they hype is around WW it's a typical origin story . I like the fact that these reshoots are changing the movie. I never understood why wanted to quickly have Darksied show up marvel killed the avenger in to 5 movies if you count civil war WB wants just 2 movies . The need to milk it bring in brainiac and mix get some.flashpoint going on . Not just 2.movies.

I hope that these reshoots only help improve the movie we have this fear that the movie will be a mix of two.directors and not have a singular vision hopefully these reshoots only enhance and improve thenfinal.product

Brainiac in another movie maybe with cyborg the center of it . Close out with a two part dark side intro to the new gods. And in between y oh can have stand alone aquaman, Batman, and we movies .

Then bring on the GL and the cosmic universe new gods

Unless cyborg doest shine in JL there is absolutely no way he gets his own movie. Yes flashpoint is a flash story but there will be too much other well established characters that most audiences prefer. Hey I could be wrong tho

During the set visit, Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven explained that there is no “Part 1” and “Part 2” anymore for Justice League (which is what the original announcement of release dates said) because this film is now a self-contained story. Their remarks led some of the assembled press to interpret this as suggesting the planned follow-up has been cancelled. But director Zack Snyder explained that Justice League is indeed a single story without a cliffhanger story continuing into a second half, but that there is still another film with an existing release date and Justice League sets up a future for the DCU and the team.

True, my favorite Superman film is MOS, but the final fight is a bit underwhelming because the film had two climaxes prior to the final fight. The first one was when Sups destroys the world engine, and the second one was when Sups stops Zod's ship and he then rescues Lois from the phantom zone. The movie could have ended right there...but, there was a final fight instead.

Yes, but to look at the silver lining, you also got the ominous scene where Superman destroys a satellite (probably hundreds of thousands in taxpayer dollars) in order to intimidate the government, and the woman made that line about how hot he was. Now that's how you end a movie!
