I have always, always, always wanted to receive an item from Sideshow with a single digit edition number. It's been a goal for a long time.

Recently, I was selected in the lottery and received the SSE Mummy PF, which I had promised to sell to another board member at cost. I received #09/50. There it was!! My single digit number!! However, I had promised not to keep it and I kept my word and sadly shipped away the only single digit number that I was ever likely to receive directly from Sideshow. I was bummed.

When I posted in the Mummy thread about having to lose my single digit #09, Lonnie shared these comforting words:

Tom, I know it hurts to let it go, but you will be rewarded for it!!! Karma!!! :rock

And today, Lonnie's prophetic words have been proven true:

Single digit, lowest number in my collection, and on a piece in one of my top two favorite lines. Now bring on Fett #42!!!

I was so happy when I saw the box that my smile almost went all the way around to the back of my head, making the edges of my mouth meet on the back side and causing the upper half of my skull to go sliding off onto the ground.

Very cool... but that pretty much guarentees that your Boba will not be anywhere near 42. :D

Congrats Tom! I have one single digit item in my collection being the Pippin Statue. It's cool in just a personal way to have a single digit number. The # I want for any of the Fellowship PF is #9. It signifies the number of the Fellowship (obviously) and the bond of the members.

Awesome news, Tom! Congratulations -- you richly deserve your luck!

(Hopefully larger ES numbers will start showing up. I'd hate to think Sideshow sold only eight of those Frodos.)
