This seemingly came out of nowhere.
KATANA Toys (which seems to be a new company?) has announced a 1/6 scale Yoshikage Kira figure.
This would be the first JoJo's Bizarre Adventure 1/6 figure since Medicom's line that ended back in 2012 (even though this is third-party).

It's available in 2 sets:
The Ordinary Gentleman KT001 A - Regular (860 yuan pre-order price):

-1x Detatched Hand

Release date is estimated to be Q4 2024.
Pre-orders are open now with a deadline of May 22nd 2024. Although, there doesn't seem to be many reputable places with it on pre-order outside of TaoBao.

Yeah, it's weird how not many retailers have it. I'm guessing it's because it's a new company with no track record, or it just fell under the radar.
I ended up pre-ordering the standard version through TaoBao, and will be forwarding it to Superbuy when it's released.
Only reputable retailer outside of TaoBao that I know of that has it is Sugo Toys, which have the Deluxe version. It is quite pricey though, and since it ships from Australia, it may be even more expensive if you're not in Australia.

Figure cost 860 yuan (~$118USD).
I shipped other figures with it, so international shipping for it to Australia roughly worked out to be ~$9.80USD for it after using coupons and credits.

Alright, I received him a few days ago. Here are some thoughts:

-Heads sculpts aren't amazing. Looks okay from certain angles, but looks off in other angles.
-Head sculpts are a bit difficult to remove, and extremely hard to insert back in (especially because the shirt doesn't seem to be removable (without removing the stitching that's between his collars for some reason). I haven't managed to fully secure the head sculpt back on the body, but is likely possible if I used more strength and had more patience.
-Tie looks completely different. No skull design on the top of the tie. Is a bit too wide. It always seems to be angled, couldn't get it straight on his body.
-One of the buttons on the shirt doesn't click in properly. Probably just a QC issue with my one, since the other buttons click in fine. Could probably glue it or blu tack it if I needed to.
-Only comes with 4 hands instead of 6. Not sure if this was an error with the listings, or they decided to scrap 2 of the hands. The open hands provided barely work with the briefcase.
-No stand for Kira, but the road included is a stand for Killer Queen (who isn't included in the regular version I ordered).
-Articulation is fairly good. Head movement was limited out of the box, but slightly loosening the head from the neck fixed that.

Not sure if that's the issue with it. The promo images were a bit more realistic than the final product imo.
I think it's either the eyes and/or the nose that are issue, but not sure which.

i think it is the eyebrow, eyes, nose, mouth and also face. not just the paint but the sculpt itself.

the skin tone is also more realistic than say toon like medicom, or storm collectibles kenshiro.
