Amazing work as always, Kato! So, you were actually contracted to work on this figure? Like the Hot Toys ver 2 Joker?

By the way, I have to ask you, how do you sew such fine detail? I've been trying to sew a red sash with a fabric that's not too thick, but not too thin either, and I can't seem to get the edges to appear as nice and detailed as I'd like. I believe the sewing machine I'm using, though it's not mine, is very similar to yours, as it's a newer brand Singer.

Not exactly the same....
I just make the sample for sideshow without providing them any technical advice in production.

My secret is :

A pair of glasses for presbyopia
sewing practice for almost 30 years :lol

According to a video interview from SDCC the long coat will be included.

I have to say I wasn't in love with the figure from the SDCC pics, but yours really show off how nice this could look. Amazing work and glad to see more companies are utilizing your talents :duff

Here's the video, about 10:35 in they start discussing the DC figures.

Yeah, I'm actually warming up to the idea of these a bit more. Still don't know if I'll order... but I like the direction they're taking with they style of them.

I want this outfit made just like this! Kato this is your best work yet. The shirt and trench coat are amazing. I want it, maybe you could clear it with sideshow to offer it wether they produce it or not??

After all you do still own it and they're mass production won't match your own. But great work!
