Hello,

does anybody know any prices of Kropserkel or did anybody order a piece of them?

I just saw they produce very life size LOTR replicas.

I do know there prices are very expensive. I inquired a while back about a pair of gauntlets and they were about a grand ($1000) for actual metal and if you wanted fiberglass they were over $500.

Do you know what Kropserkel exactly is?

I watched several youtube videos, read through their website, but I did not get what they are doing.

Are they licensed reproducers?

And how long did the reply of them take?

no, their products are NOT liscensed. it's why their prices are so high. it's not mass produced. technicly they're customizers.

That is weird.

I know LOTR / New Line Cinema etc. protects most of the names used in the movies.
So it is not forbidden to recreate exact copies of their costumes?

I mean sure, you cannot protect a certain design, but for logos / graphics etc you can.

It isn't forbidden to create something for yourself if you want, so if Kropserkel is technically not commercial, it'll be allowed.

At least, that's what I think.

I ordered a RingWraith costume from them (for a mannequin in the corner of my home theater room) and it is FANTASTIC. The quality and craftsmanship is VERY high, everyone who has seen it thinks its an actual movie prop, not some "costume". Wore it once and it was a very exilirating LotR experience.

As for price, are you kidding me? How can people in one breath talk about all thier busts and PFs, when for the same price of a couple of those you can have a LIFE SIZED RINGWRAITH.

Let me repeat that, a real cloth, real armor, LIFE SIZED RINGWRAITH.

No PF (or any item in my collection) has, or ever will, surpass it.

Here are some pics from my work's 08 Halloween party. I decided to wear it for once (costly and dangerous move!) since I'm mid-move and havent gotten my mannequin back up yet...

Low quality pics (2 diff coworker's cheapy cams, as I forgot to bring mine! ), but you get the picture.
