Kurt Cobain's ashes have been stolen from his widow, Courtney Love's home, according to Love.

Love told News Of The World, "They were all I had left of my husband.

"I can't believe anyone would take Kurt's ashes from me. I find it disgusting and right now I'm suicidal. If I don't get them back I don't know what I'll do."

The ashes were taken from Love's Los Angeles home, where she kept them in a pink teddy bear shaped bag. Most of his ashes were scattered in the Wishkah River in Washington State, and near a Buddhist temple in New York.

Cobain was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head on April 8, 1994.

From what I remember from seeing some as a kid they aren't like cigarette ashes they are kind of like sand with bigger chunks in them that are some of the bones that didn't break down. I hope that doesn't sound too gross.
