C'mon people the figure won't be limited to only 750. He'll have an exclusive of 750 and then probably around 3,000 for the regular release.

And if you don't like Lando beign released than I suggest you go suck a ^^^^

I don't think that is a bad thing. The looseness issues of the Pro have been fixed and it is better than the buck.

What will my Lando do without the adams apple? Clearly the likeness suffers as a result.

It would be really cool if Sideshow would go ahead and add sculpted detail to the pro neck. It could be something the reuse everytime, but would help the overall look of the figure.

I like the extra poseability, but it is an issue with all 2-joint neck designs so far.

I guess I haven't posed my Indy next to a SW figure yet, but ostensibly, I really didn't notice is being too short especially after I posed Indy next to the Hasbro Cairo Swordsman....lol.

I don't mind Sideshow releasing Lando at all... especially if they do end up making only 750 total. Then I can actually flip a Sideshow SW item.

The more these figures go up, the more I want to pass and just use my budget to buy someone else's depreciated older pieces.

Now SSC seems to throw in a new wrinkle by making the figure more limited, so maybe it won't depreciate much.

I really need to see what the exclusive item is before I buy or not. If its not cool, I may wait a while on Lando and see if the regular depreciates.

I actually think it would be a bold and awesome move on Sideshow's part to limit it to 750 total. Sure, people will complain (which is the case anyway, right?) but it would ensure that at least one figure in this line will not depreciate. And Lando is the perfect character to boost with that kind of mystique. He's popular enough for a lot of people to want... but not important or popular enough to warrant a gazillion figures. At a total 750 ES this figure might be the grail of the whole line for collectors.

Besides, if they make like 2,000 - 3,000 regulars most of them will just be sitting in the SSC warehouse a year from now and be relegated to Gift Card and Giveaway fodder... and SSC knows it.

SSC should make what they can sell. If they truly can't sell more than 750 within an established period of time, then so be it, but to make fewer than the market desires is not smart, IMO.

Sure it'll make 750 people feel good that 1 figure doesn't depreciate, but there will be 1000 others annoyed that the 1 figure that maintained value was out of their grasp despite being willing to pay MSRP for it.

SSC should concern themselves with making and pricing a figure that creates demand in and of itself.

If SSC makes a SW figure limited to 750 units that kinda blows the whole "LOTR doesn't sell well enough to justify another figure" statement because wouldn't an LOTR figure sell at least 750 total units?

FINALLY, Lando. He sure took forever. $79 seems a bit high IMO but since he's on the pro and not the ^^^^ty buck, its easier to justified the price. (and easier to swap to TT too since the pro is a meh) Hopefully we'll see a skif guard version to round up the jabba scene.

Still don't get why some care so much about ES... 750 is pretty darn low for an exclusive....we could have ES of 50 and some would still be ^^^^^ing about it being too high
