With the recent release of a new Buffy line at SSC, much discussion has sparked in Whedonville, including memories about the good ol' days of Buffy and Angel television series.

Seeing how there is already a thread about the most memorable moments of the Slayer, I figured why not make one about the vampire with a soul, Angel.

Discuss your favorite moments of Angel....and even the not-so-great ones. Which seasons were your favorite and which were not? What was your favorite episode and why? What was your least favorite? This is your thread to run wild in!

Grrrr....Arggg. :mummy

I love the Buffy on Throne maquette that SideShow collectibles released. She looks sexy in her attire, and the coy way she looks on the chair and its base is a great execution. I am so glad I got locked in for the ex! 3rd quarter of 2010 can not come any sooner! :rock

Oh, I don't like you....

The most memorable season for me was probably Season 3. Incorporating Darla and a new son, Connor, the arrival of Holtz, and a "betrayal" like no other, Season 3 certainly changed the Whedonverse forever IMO.

Which season do you think inspired the Buffy on Throne piece? Definitely season 2.. with the short hair, and the litty bitty outfit with knee high boots, definitely has to be Buffy season 2.

My favorite episode (or I should say one of my favorites) was the 100th episode, "You're Welcome" because of the return of Cordelia. If there was ever an episode that made me cry, this was the one.

You know what would make me cry bud? If the Buffy on Throne maquette came with paint flaking. Prime that sucker well SS!

Hmmm...you know what would have made you cry? Meeting Charisma Carpenter in person. What a sweetheart and she's even more beautiful in person. I'm looking at the picture that I took with her right now. :D

Yet another reason why the 100th episode was one of my favorites. :rock

I would love a Cordy school girl maquette. Damn fetish!

The real thing is better, which did I mention I met in person? :D

Back to the thread though.

Another one of my favorite episodes was "Hero", ep. 9 from Season 1. That last scene where Angel and Cordy are watching their commericial starring Doyle, after his death earlier in the episode spoke volumes. THAT gave me goosebumps. What a powerful way to end an episode. One of the best IMO.

There are so many memorable moments in Angel. And so many moments that I love so much.

The birth of Connor
Darla Staking herself (like wow)
The beast - He was amazing
Fred dieing, becoming Illyria
Spikes Return
Lorne Killing Lindsey

there are so many great Episodes of Angel but some of the best are ..,

City of...I love how they started it at the bar to when he stakes the vamps and walks away in to the night.

In the Dark...Spike do I have to say more.

Hero...Doyle was the best(somebody need to make a custom head of Glenn Quinn..PLEASE!!)

Redefinition...My all time fav Episode, Angel at his best Plus the gang singing "We are the champions" just priceless

Fredless...to me was one of the best Fred Episodes on Angel.

Waiting in the Wings...Angel and Cordelia get it on LOL...PS that is River Tam (Summer Glau) as the Dancer =0)

and many more (as you can tell I kind of like this show) but I'm takeing up to much of this thread:D...Maybe I come back for a part two of my best of

I have always preferred Angel over Buffy. Don't get me wrong, both are AMAZING shows. However, Angel resonanted more with me personally. And Angel Season 5 is, in my opinion, the best complete season ever on TV. Now if Firefly went a full year, well....

I sure wish some of these great Angel episodes were available on iTunes. :banghead:banghead:banghead

Did Andy Hallett ever release an album? All I have is the couple of tracks from the Angel TV series CD.

I have to be honest in that I don't really know. I remember those tracks you speak of that were on the album, but other than that I don't know.
