Logan (2017) Speculation

This figure turned out pretty good, the Vimal sculpt bumps it up a couple notches. When I think of this movie, especially the early part where he’s driving limo, Logan is a sad shadow of his former self and the Vimal sculpt really captures that. At least it does to me anyway. I believe Justin’s Collection will be reviewing this on YouTube sometime soon, so keep an eye out for that too.

The soosootoys body actually looks bigger than I expected. Not too skinny at all. How is the connection between the neck and the head? I know with the soosootoys body and soosootoyshead there it isnt a snug fit, there is a gap because the hole in the head is a little too large. Curious how the vimal sculpt connects with the soosootoys body.

I didn’t notice a gap with the vimal, but I’ll take a closer look when I get home. Maybe swap heads and take some pics of each.

That would be awesome. Do you know how the height compares to the ganghood set or other figures in general?

I never bought the gang hood set so I can’t compare it to that. I certainly can line it up with some other recent releases though.

Here’s some pictures of the neckline:


There is some gap. The width of the beard hides it from the front though.

Next to some other figures:





He seems short next to these but his height is 12” the same as the listed height for MMS220, and he’s taller than the the Days of Future Wolverine listed 11.81 inch height. But it could probably be 1/4 inch taller. The two marvel figures seem oversized. If he matched Westley in height I think it would be perfect.

The Good:
The tailoring is good. The suit fits and moves with the body well.
The accessories while light are done well. The comic looks good as does the cigar, all the hands have a consistent paint app.
The middle claw hand was a fun inclusion.
The weathering on the shoes looks good.
Two Headsculpts. Even though I used the vimal. If I hadn’t already bought that I’d be happy using either one that was included. I might put another figure together now since I have them.

The Bad:
I had a couple clawed hands where the claws are crooked, noticeably even from a few feet away. I think I’ll be able to fix this though.
Figure could be a bit taller. Probably won’t be an issue depending on who you display him with. The stand has a thicker base so that does boost him a bit.

Overall I’m impressed enough to buy another SooSoo Toys release.

My kit-bashed/modded 1/6 Logan. It’s the imitation Ganghood body and suit. I removed the neck joint to get rid of the giraffe neck, bulked the body with clay, and repainted the sculpted hair. I have the new VimalXEleven headsculpt being shipped from OneSixthKit, as well as the movie accurate claws (close fisted). I also plan on upgrading to an actual Ganghood 1.0 body, as well as the actual Ganghood suit and shoes. Until then, this is my stand-in:

Logan is still one of my most favorite superhero films.

All in all, an eleven cigar head sculpt, ganghood suit set/gangood body, HT The Wolverine clawed hands and stand.

I'm looking to put together a Logan, can someone help me with who are the legit sellers who sell all the pieces? I know onesixthkit has the Vmal/Eleven sculpt which is what I want, but the body, clothes, and claw hands I am not sure who to go to. eBay has a lot, but hard to tell who has the legit stuff. Any help with the body and clothes much appreciated.

Also, do people feel the SooSooToys version is better than piecing it together? Who is a reliable seller for the SooSooToys version?

I don't normally buy custom/unlicensed stuff, but I really want Logan. So I don't really know the custom world all that well and who are the legit sellers.
