I am thinking of getting either the Logan PF or the Wolverine comiquette. Obviously the PF is cheaper, and I prefer Wolvie in street duds...but the face seems off. Anyone have one or both? Opinions?

I like mine. I know some (maybe alot) of people don't like the interpretation of his face, and I've seen some that I like more, but I've also some I like a whole lot less. I think the pose is a pretty bad ass one. It's not the feral rage pose like he's about to tear someone apart, but a "just try it, bub" pose and that's another reason I like it alot.

A few things that I don't like about it... The arms are bendy, and when I tried to get them in a position I liked I had a hard time, and then his arm came off. Then when I tried to fix it the other came off. With some careful work I managed to get some super glue in there and get his jacket back on. The arms haven't fallen back out by themselves, but I haven't messed with them any either so I don't know how good the glue will hold it if I decide to move his arms. The other thing that annoyed me is his claws were a bit loose. He also tends to lean forward a bit, so when you kinda have to play with the angle you have him displayed at so it looks good. Kinda like the Boba Fett, from some angles he looks like he is about to fall forward.

Overall I really like him though.

Sounds like he has a lot of problems.

Well, you got your answer. Stay clear from the PF Logan. lol

always make the look of the statue 1500 % better

Wowzers. OK, thanks for the input. They both look great. Are Logans arms like Dracula and Frankenstein's with the wire armature, or more like the Wolfman where they will snap then if attemptting to adjust? Sounds like they are solid like the Wolfman's if one is able to use super glue to put them back together.

I'm not sure what Wolfman's are like. On Logan the arms are like foam. The place where they broke is at the shoulder where the foam meets the polystone. They popped out more than broke. And that may not be a problem on all of them. It could well be my fault, I think holding the upper arm still while bending at the elbow would probably keep it fine.

I like mine. My only real "beef" wth it is that he's a little too tall. He's 19" inches tall ( roughly ) which puts him right in at the same height as most other PF's. Logan is only about 5'2 in the comics I think. He should have been about 15-16 inches IMO to put him more in scale.

Other than that one issues he's great. GREAT costume detail and I like the sculpt as well. I don't really mess with the arms at all because I was worried about what happened above.

Someone could offer me the Logan PF for free and I still wouldn't display it in my collection. Everything from the head to his jacket is fugly.

The comiquette on the other hand is a work of art. Absolutely gorgeous and IMO, the definitive Wolverine statue.

I think it looks great.

I like this logan more than the X-men vs. Sentinel Logan

A lot of people don't like it but I thought the Logan PF was great! If Len Wein likes it that's good enough for me. :rock

It looks much better in person. Im happy I own a version of Wolverine in street clothes. I actually have 2 of these. I had no problems with his arms coming off. They can be adjusted a little.

I got mine when Sideshow had like 10 left. It's possible someone else got it and broke the arm and sent it back without saying it was broken. It wasn't difficult to fix and you can't tell anything was wrong with it so even if it was a common problem I would buy one anyways.

On the PF with bendable arms, Sideshow did warn us that you need to hold the shoulder firmly while bending the elbow; I think it was in chat during a SDCC or Toy Fair three or four years ago.

Ah, so it was my fault. Well its really only logical, I'm not sure what I was thinking, but then we all do dumb things sometimes.

Interesting topic here, well, the part about "bendable" arms. I was wondering the same thing for the Hellboy PF. I set him up to inspect him and was wondering if arms were bendable. They would move lsightly, but felt like if I forced it, bad things would happen. Probably should be some sort of warning or instructions included, since the aerticulation seems to vary from PF to PF.

None of my PFs have articulation. Maybe GG does in his toque and the man purse straps. If you want articulation go the 1:6 figure route. hehe

I collect PFs just to stare aimlessly at them.
