Reason I ask, is I was negotiating with the seller and just when I was going to hit 'buy', it was gone.

Well to be honest... it is a very, very nice figure. Even though its a few years old I still think its one of the best DeNiro sculpts that have been made (Sladesuperagent's pics show this off nicely).

But I still think that if it got a similar treatment to what we saw with "The Screaming" figure we'd all be in 1/6 Taxi Driver heaven

The box is so nice on the CRM though, as is the tailoring. It even has a miniature King Kong patch.

$800, I was embarrassed about spending less then half that on a Clockwork Orange figure.

Don't feel even remotely bad. Thats a waste of money. Just build your own Travis for under $75 in the mean time and wait out a company like Subway. I made one from Monkey Depot and Toy Anxiety. May not be perfect but knowing I spent $700 less then some people is enough to put my mind at ease. And you can find the correct patches for him online, I'm just waiting for mine to arrive.

Looks good Deckard... headsculpt could be better, but not bad at all.

This would be a good one for the commission oriented folks... Doesn't seem too hard to bash one together, but the available heads (with the exception of the CRM) leave a lot to be desired.

Yea the head I have now, I got when MD ran a sale, I payed $1.50. Looks alot better in person but too skinny.

I would love a good commission of Travis though. I also, eventually plan, on getting the right kind of jacket. The collar is just ever so slightly off on mine, and the boots on mine are also wrong because the triad Cowboy ones won't fit on a DML body.

So many cult licenses need some loving, I'm just starting a Bruce from Pulp Fiction right now.

Thanks man, I understand how you can want him, he definately looks cool. It is a great figure just seems overpriced nowadays. Was it a Buy it Now or auction that ended for that much?
