Looking for a modern Mego 8-9" sized figure replacement...

I was thinking the Sideshow hobbit body... I want to upgrade the body on this figure and make it bulkier and more impressive! to be honest this figure was a bit of a buyer remorse one... The costume isn't that great...

If you could find a Mattel Max Steel. He'd fill out the Superman suit.

what did you pay? $10-$20? can't be that much buyer remorse.

The hobbit body will be better articulation, but its way too scrawny.

Another option is Toy Biz used to make Marvel figures in that size called "Famous Covers". I think the figures were more muscular than the Superman.

Personally, I would try bulking him up with some clay.
