I've been casually glancing around the internet, starwars.com, and even did a quick search on the freaks message board, but there does not seem to be any solid information pertaining to Celebration V.

I was able to attend one day in LA for CIV, and had a blast. I'm looking forward to attending the entire convention the next time one comes around, in the U.S. of course.

Anyone have any leads on CV?

:D

I think it needs a rest until something's really going on to "Celebrate" like a significant anniversary or maybe when the L-A show is ready to air...

I attended both 3 & 4 and had a great time, but it was an expensive good time. Considering how expensive these things can end up being and with the economy still in the crapper, I'd hold off if I were Lucasfilm on having another one of these....for a while anyway.

I've been to all 4, the last one was pretty cool albeit a lot smaller in scale. I would be cool with Chi Town.

last i heard they may be holding back due to the financial crisis....i mean, none of us Internationalists would head to USA with the CURRENT exchange rate....so numbers would be down a few.I guess then it would be on who is headlining and how much you REALLY would go.
Ive been to the last 2,both awesome for different reasons, both chaos for different reasons...but nothing beats a couple thousand SW fans crammed into an auditorium to watch the SW movie marathon!!!!
Id say more will be known by half yr or yrs end....and perhaps by next year with the Anniversary of ESB and some prelim work on the LA series....you just never know ;)

I really want to go since I've never been. I'm hoping for Chicago.

That's the city I am hearing bandied about from people that work with LFL. They've spoken about the Windy city for a while actually.

Either one would work, but it might be cool to go back to another City that's more economically priced. LA was kinda pricey, but I commuted there. If I had to pay for a hotel, you'd go broke. Next to NYC, Chi-town would be the next expensive to have this thing.
Definitley need some to "Celebrate" here.

I live in IL. so Chicago would be awesome. Went to Indy in '05 and had a blast. :)

Was there any news of CV reported at SDCC? I'm going to check over the official Star Wars site now, but that often does not help me very much. Just wondering...
