I know I may be in the minority here... and I read all the posts in the other thread... but I don't mind the lottery for SUPER rare items (under 100 produced). It's just too much of a cluster *bomb* trying to get that stuff for my tastes.

Everything else... it should come down to savvy and first come... first served skills.

What they should do is not say the ES. Then scalpers wouldn't be all over it like white on rice. Say the ES after all the pieces have been shipped to their new homes. I don't mind the lottery though.

I prefer to have a little more control over my fate than leaving it to just plain luck. Most of all, I'm not a real big fan of these super rare items personally. Most of the time they aren't anything I want so I'm usually unaffected, but I am a little bugged by the idea I may miss out on something because there was only a tiny number produced. But I suppose I'm getting off topic and derailing the thread now, so uh, lottery sucks. *blows raspberry*

I also believe this is a bad idea. The way I see it, this gives scalpers an even greater chance at obtaining this. The "true collectors" who don't want this won't even put their name in the lottery whereas every scalper now has a chance to do so within 2 days which leads me to believe even more scalpers will have a chance at it.

Yeah, I can't say this is a good idea. All this will do to them is cause unneeded *****ing. I'm kind of shaking my head right now. SS not sure ya needed to do this. Not the best idea IMO.

he he he... thats what I did for the McFarlane Deion Sanders Exclusives. I hate Deion and never would have bought them but when they screwed up the sale day and went to the lottery I put my name in. I won and sold them on ebay.

Which is what I probably would have done as well and I have no problem with people doing it with the Mummy. I just think Sideshow is adding to the problem, not helping to alleviate it.
