I've been fascinated with Dinosaurs since I was a child. Before any sort of Super Hero worship...it was the Dino for me.
Griffon Enterprises released this Velociraptor Skeleton in 2011 and I didn't even know about it until recently. Hopefully they find wider distribution (AHEM!...Sideshow) as the prototype for their Allosaurus Skeleton looks incredible and these are about 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of the DinoStoreUs statues.
Allosaurus:
The Velociraptor comes in a Window Lid Box, which is cool, but a little pointless as you can't really see anything through the plastic.
From the base to the tip of the tale, it's 16 inches tall. A very nice size. The paint apps are very, very nice. I was going to touch some things up (and still may), but when you set this on the shelf, it's really unnecessary.
This is sculpted by Shigeru Yamazaki, who also sculpted the wonderful Kaiyodo Dino Skeleton resin kits way back when.
