Ooh, thanks for the reminder. I'm going to have to write a note on my hand so I don't forget tonight.

D'oh, I missed this too.

So was it any good? I was hoping it would be better than the Masters of Horror seriess... that was pretty unwatchable.

It was ok. The next one is on Saturday at 10. The first one was about the commander and chief. He did not know he was the man. He ended up being responsible for the end of the world and didn't know it. It wasn't all that much exciting. Imagine if Bush blew up the world and then forgot about and had to see a counciler. Thats about it.

Ughh, sounds pretty unimpressive. I'll probably give it a chance though. But I've had my fill of the Bush analogies in every possible form of popular entertainment.....

hmmm... so pretty standard fair. About what I figured, I'll still try and check 'em out.

I liked it. I would say it was more than just about the president ending the world and not knowing it. That was essentially the denouement. The entertainment came in the way it was presented and not being sure what was going on. The way it was done makes me think of Shirley Jackson's The Lottery. Of course I'm coming at this from the viewpoint as if its a literary short story that has been made into a TV episode as opposed to a series like The Twilight Zone, so maybe that accounts for my difference of opinion.

I will agree. The way it was filmed it was like you were the president and learning everything as he was. It still wasn't very good IMO. Saturdays this week looked better. At least from the trailer.

That's cool. I would have liked to see some short stories by Heinlein, Frederick O. Brown, or Edgar Rice Burroughs though. It's possible that stuff is not modern TV fare though.

I believe they're all based on original short stories. Next week's episode is based on a Heinlein short story.

I like last week's episode okay. Tonight's looks like it could be really good.
