Anyone have a list of everything that came with the Boba Fett figure? Just curious if I've got all the parts that he originally came with (got it loose).

Thanks!
Sean

It didn't come with much. Assuming you have his gun, about the only things you might be missing are some of his tiny "tools" that were in one of his pockets, if I recall.

Humm there was a lot of little tools... Space crawler post a pic of what you have got. I bought mine in bits too.

He came with the Rifle, pistol, the missile thing on his backpack, and those two tools that go in the shin pocket. I think that's it. Oh and the little jet nozzles on his backpack can come off, too.

Cool, thanks guys. I think mine has all the parts, I'll take a shot tomorrow and post it.

But I was wondering, does the head come off? (his arm seems loose, I want to check it's not broken, so need to take off the shirt. Can't do that until I get his head off)

Head is glued on at the very top. You can crack the glue if you're careful and then take it apart.

The whole head (helmet and head) comes off the neck, you can get it off to do what you're looking to.

He also comes with an extra set of hands. (alternate grip and open hand).
He has the Wookie Scalps around his shoulder in the box, just in case the person you bought it off removed them.

He also comes with a clear display stand if they refer to that as an accessory..lol

Just a note. Be careful of the knee darts, they are very fragile. I accidently broke one off trying to bend his knee.

Ok here are some pics of the Boba Fett I just picked up off eBay. Turns out his arm is indeed broken. Crap!

Anyone know if epoxy will be an effective fix for this type of plastic? Or maybe a styrene weld type glue (what sort of plastic is this made of?).

Anyone ever do any repair to these seemingly very fragile Medicom bodies (this is the first one I've ever seen- they seem a little flimsy to me).

These two photos just show everything that he came with. Is this everything? (the 2 bits in the red circle came off his backpack and belt while trying to get his suit off, easy fixes).

Thanks for any tips!!!

Ahh! The old bust medi shoulder syndrome.

This is the bane of my life! must have gone through half a dozen Medi bodies over the years because of this.

Couple of options:

1) Scour this forum & eBay to pick up a spare body (look for a cheap broken one - just make sure it's not the same shoulder that's broken!) The bodies come apart pretty easy, little screws under the small plastic caps. You can simply replace the left arm.

2) Get a new, complete medi body, keep your old one as spares.

3) Replace body with a True Type Slim (Haven't tried this myself - might be some issues with attaching Head/Hands.

4) Complain to eBay. I'd bet the seller knew this was broken. If they didn't mention it in the listing, you might have grounds for refund/replacement.

Moral of the story is... Don't buy fragile Medicom figures. This comes from a man who has just ordered another Medi Clone LOL - Do as I say, not as I do!!!!

Anyone ever put their Medi Fett on a slim true type. I was thinking of doing it. But, didnt know if it would be easy or not.

I put mine on the Soldier Story S2 body. However, I used the Marmit suit and I don't know if the Medicom one fits. No idea on the slim TT.

I just transferred my Medi Maul to a Slim Type. Its a completely different figure. Totally recommend it:D The Hot Toys feet slid right into the boots perfect fit and for the hands, if you remove the medi pegs from the hands, the HT pegs pop right in. Its like the slim was meant for this:monkey5

Now the difficult part is connecting the head, if your using a medi head your gonna need the medi neck. Use a blow-dryer to warm up the base of the head then gently gently pull the head off. On the back of the Neck there are 2 screws you have to remove ( Be careful not to strip the screw when you turn it ) I went through 3 different medi bodies before I found one I could unscrew. I think they glue the screws in (?) Then the two halves separate ( dont mix up which side is up/down) Then remove Hot Toys neck and screw medi neck on, perfect fit.

Now the clothes might be an issue, Darth Maul is wearing baggy clothes and long boots so it hides it well. Boba seems his pants are long enough.

:lecture This is all good to know! Thanks for sharing :peace

I am in the middle of swapping my boba to a slim TT. Some problems I have encounters so far:

the boots/shoes, belt and croutch armor are very tight fit. The rest are very easy to put on, the slim is very similar in size to the rah301, except a bit wider. For the boots I had to cut away some pieces of the slim foot to get it to fit into the boot. (after I heat up the boot with hot water first) For the belt and crouch armor, it is possible to fit them on the slim after you heat it up with hot water, but its a very very tight fit so I am currently moding them for a better fit.

Did the same with mine- and he looks great.

Sean if you need a new medi bodi I can send you one. Just let me know your address. But to be honest I would stuck it on a TT slim... much better and height is better to. Plus the body is more robust, better for playing with , er I mean displaying in a glass temperature control cabinet.

1. So you can take apart the torso and replace the ENTIRE arm (including the swivel bit that is still attached to the body in my photo)?

2 & 3. Yeah, I sort of blew my budget on stuff lately so can't afford the $30 new body. :(

4. Sent an email to the seller- no reply, of course.

Wow, that's a nice offer. How much did you want for it (I'm in the USA, Pasadena CA, so postage will be a bit higher).

But if I go that route, or get TT body, what do you do about the head? I guess if it's another Medicom body I can take both torsos apart (the new one and the one I have) and take the head off and put it on the new body with no chance and breaking things- or is getting the heads off more involved (I didn't really get the posts on head removal so far- again these bodies are new to me, so forgive my ignorance).

the head and the neck comes apart, you can either use a blow dryer or hot water to heat up the joint to make the process of removing and re-attach the head easier, after that you can just push the head down a new medi body. To transplant the medi head onto a TT, take a look at the medicom neck. There are 2 tiny screw on the back of the neck, unscrew them and the neck becomes 2 pieces that you can put on the HT slim TT's torso ball joint by re-screwing them together. Its very easy.

Yep! Easy as pie. (Well easy as taking out a load of fiddly screws, carefully prizing the sections apart, swapping out broken bits and re-fitting it all together!)

But take up Dorgmal's offer! He's sent me at least three bodies (for which I am eternally grateful!) Just go easy on them as your right. They are flimsy.
