Medicom Lost 1/6 scale

I bought the Jack Shephard figure last year but does anyone know if they are planning more? I know McFarlane stopped making them after 2 sets of them because they didn't sell well enough. I'm hoping that's not the case here.

most likely that's it for medi as well. They are pretty consistent in making just one or two characters outside of their core licenses.

I googled Medicom Jack Shepard, and got results for Medicom Jack Sparrow, Jack Skellington and Jack Bauer. . . who knew there were so many Medicom Jacks?!?!?!

Enterbay should try for a LOST license and do the main characters,yeah why not!

I wasn't real keen on Jack and was waiting to see more figures before I got him. Since I haven't seen any other figures, I'm glad I didn't spring for him.

What did the production figure end up looking like? I tried googling it, but only saw protos.

It looked about the same as the prototype except the paint on the eyebrows and hair is darker. I don't really like Jack all that much but Jack in his suit is really the only iconic image from the series. So it was kind of necessary to make that the first figure.

I was really hoping they would create a few more; Ben, Locke, and maybe Mr. Eko. Too bad. I guess I'll have to settle for custom heads.

I read on here that people say Hot Toys would make better versions, but they're just too damned expensive. Nearly $200, when I can get Medicom for half the price and Sideshow for a little less than that.

Hot damn! I just googled Enterbay and though I'm not a fan of 24, that Jack Bauer figure looks excellent!

He's pretty much exactly what you'd think Medicom Jack would be - he's stylized and the paint apps are much simpler than HT or SSC. I know a lot of people despise Medi for not going for the "realism" of other 1/6 companies but I really love this figure. The only thing that bugs me is the lip color but it's not really noticeable in person. I remember seeing the first in-hand pics show up and I was a little horrified at the Barbie-ness of those shots but he fits right in with other Medicoms.
And I'm a LOST whore so take that into consideration.

the paint is craptacular.. but the sculpt is pretty good.

I've seen his fantastic repaint. He's unbelievably talented.
I like the simplicity of it as-is and I think it suits the somewhat exaggerated sculpt. It's not Kubrick simple and not McFarlane detailed, and I like variety.
