If I tell you...
So I won a "lottery" to attend the Frank Miller DKIII Platinum Experience for only 30 ppl... BUT its $995. :thud:

So my question to those experienced in convention(s) packages is, IS IT WORTH IT? Heres what you get...

Meet the entire creative team behind Dark Knight III. This package includes: • Original hand drawn Batman head sketch by Frank Miller on a DKIII #1 comic or
an art board*.
• Priority seating at a private Frank Miller & Dark Knight III creative team presentation
• Oversized limited edition lithograph by Frank Miller
• 3 autographs each from Frank Miller, Andy Kubert, Brian Azzarello and Klaus Janson
on items of your choice*.
• Commemorative ticket

I did notice on ebay that FM head sketches on DKIII comics returned a few to several hundred dollars in auction. No lithos to compare though. I'm not sure what autos run these days, $50-$100?

Note this is already in addition to the entry tickets to the con.

Thanks!

I thought about trying to get tickets through the lottery they're doing for Dallas Comic Con for the same package, but what you get out of it isn't worth $995 to me. I'm not sure you'd recoup the cost even if you sold everything they give you so it depends on whether or not meeting Frank Miller is worth it to you.

I'd say unless the experience of doing all of that is worth a grande to you then it's not really a good idea. I could see getting geeked for something like that it were some of the OT Star Wars cast but that'd probably be the only thing like that I'd even consider dropping that much coin on. But if you are a huge Miller fan then I'd say go for it.

I just saw this, and I don't know if you did it or not but I don't think it's worth it. Personally you could take that grand and buy a few pieces of original art or ton of other stuff, hell you might even get lucky on some deals at the con.

I was thinking about going this year but I haven't decided yet.
