I guess I'm keeping a wait-and-see attitude, but if both Snake and Hayter never return, that'll certainly make me see the franchise differently. But if Kojima is done with him, I suppose no one can force him to think otherwise. MGS4 felt like a goodbye to Snake altogether IMO, so I suppose I've already prepared myself for that.
