Metroid Wii

Anyone planning on picking this up? My Wii has been collecting dust since last November. I might have to see about this game today. Wanted to know if anyone has played it yet? IGN gave it a 9.5. So who is going to be winging around their Wii with Metroid tonight?

i've always loved metroid but didn't really feel the ones for the gamecube and don't think i'll pick up this one right now. with so many games coming out for the 360 this one will have to wait till it's on sale way down the road.

Thats my thing too but Nintendo's first party titles take years to go on sale. Plus I beat Bioshock quicker than I thought I would. I blame Bioshock for being so freaking awesome that it demanded such attention. Now I have nothing to look forward to till the 25th and you know what that mamma jamma is.

its going to be a rental for me for sure.with so many great 360 games coming out im not spending precious money on a wii game that IMO hasn't had a good sequel since SNES.

Well I caved and bought it. I must say I thought it would be easy to get used to the controls. I was wrong. It is rather difficult at least for me. I am so used to the regular controller. It's not a bad game though. I think it will be great once I get used to it.

Picked it up along with TW08 today. Been playing Bioshock and TW since I got home. Will pop this in a little later tonight. No sleep for me tonight, nothing but hardcore gaming. Work should be fun tomorrow

Played through the first level last night. So far so good. I've played Metroid Prime so much it's going to take a long time to get used to the different controls.

Ok say I gave it a good play tonight. I have been having trouble with the controls. I figured out that if I turned the sensitivity down this helps alot. I now rate this game freaking awesome. This game is so much fun. I must say though I would not buy a wii solely for it. You might want to wait until Mario. I stood in line for this thing for about 12 hours in a walmart lawn and garden section. I have barley used it. I tried playing Zelda but I just couldn't get over a next gen game not having voice overs. It made me so mad I didn't want to play it. Anyways, if you have a Wii buy this game. You will love it!

I am going to start to rate my reviews of games. So here is the first one. This game gets 4 out of 5 licks. LOL!

Glad to hear your'e enjoying it... I just bought Zelda, so I'll be playing that for a bit before getting another game. But Metroid is a definite must.

I picked up a Wii today while I am up in OR plus Tiger Woods 08. Best part is no sales tax here so it saved me about $25.:chew

To bad the TV in the hotel has no imputs, now it has to wait until tomorrow.

My buddy was playing the Tiger 08 and said it was really good. I've never really been into sports games (especially golf) but after the Wii pack-in I'm a bit interested in trying some of them now.

Its seems more fun to play a sports game if you can actually flail your arms around

Tennis was pretty fun, until I sold my Wii.

I've said it before and I'll say it again; the day classic nintendo characters communicate in ways other than animated facial expressions is the day they lose the charm that makes them classic nintendo characters.
