Here's hoping he'll be in the Avatar sequels. Apparently he hasn't been involved in them yet though and I dunno why at this point. There doesn't seem to be bad blood between Biehn and Cameron despite him not getting the role of Quarritch (sp?).

I'll be seeing him at SVCC in San Jose in two weeks. Along with a lot of other Terminator stars including, Schwarzenegger, Loken, Furlong, Goldstein, Cooksey, and Patrick. Should be fun.

I wondered what happened to him. He definitely made some memorable characters, but he did the smart thing choosing family over Hollywood. Would still be cool to see him in one of the avatar sequels!

He was Cameron's original bland lead guy, before Sam Worthington.:chase
He was miscast as a good guy when he should've been playing villains, case and point, Tombstone.

Biehn is good period.
Hicks, case and point.

Also good in The Rock.

Agreed.
Terminator is a case in point.

Yes, mention the films he was in and overshadowed by the other actors. :lol

He's the original Sam Worthington and his career after those 3 Cameron films speaks for it self. He was just ok, and got very lucky to be in 3 Cameron films. He was by no means the highlight of those movies. Aliens alone had Paxton, Weaver, Henriksen, and the chick that play Vasquez be more memorable.

He's a million times better than Jai Courtney. I'll give him that, Biehn at least looked cool.

When I was young I wanted to be Corporal Hicks so he was pretty memorable to me. And if Hot Toys revisited the USCM only to drop them after a single figure, Hicks would be my number one choice. :dunno

I didn’t read the article did he mention how bad the drugs and alcohol derailed his career or did he use the tried and true “family” excuse lol

That's what's up. However, as anybody...outside the "freaks" bubble if they know Corporal Hicks or Kyle Reese, and they'll give you the Starlord line.

No joke, have you ever seen him in any of those lists of popular characters or even fan art depicting famous 80's characters like these?

It’s always pathetic and sad seeing celebrities doing everything they can to remain relevant and loved.

While i’ll always respect the ones who bow out in a classy manner I also get why it’s not easy to do, why they desperately try to cling on.

With fame comes money with fame and money comes:

Traveling the world being loved by strangers
Massive amounts of amazing cocaine fueled gang bangs
Exotic cars, yachts and homes
Amazing cuisine

Who in their right freaking mind would want to lose that I would try to cling on as well just like bronze statue Stallone with Rambo 16 lol

First thing the Rock did when he made it in Hollywood after wrestling was get a divorce. :lol He stayed friends with the ex and she's his business manager, but still...he could have been the family guy, but chose to be this generation's Arnold.

Wow, someone really has an ax to grind. It’s OK, you can hate him, I’m sure you have your reasons. As for the rest of us, we like him and there’s no need to rub our faces in your hatred.

Anyway, thank you for sharing the article - it was a great read and I hope will see him again!
