Mickey from Snatch Work in Progress UPDATE (4-24-2013) - 99% done.

Hey guys.. Here's a quick pic of a work in progress of my first "custom" figure. Most of the time I just kitbash with a few slight mods.. this time I did quite a bit of custom work.

I always wanted a Mickey figure but no one would do the sculpt! So I picked up the Aldo Raine sculpt, which I think is the best one out there for Brad Pitt, and added a beard, etc.

Let me know your thoughts! Still gotta do some fine tuning, add a red shirt (going for the DVD cover look [more color]). Might even include the dog!

(cat hair will not be part of the final product, lol, sorry about that, stupid cat).



UPDATE: Added red shirt (DX08 Shirt colored red)

Just some final touches needed to be 100% complete.

Thanks guys.. Just gotta retouch the paint a bit on the beard, add some more jewelry, a red shirt (like Scarface's), and maybe the dog, lol.

May have laid the beard on a bit too heavily, I've never sculpted before.. I'm pretty happy with it so far regardless!

If only that dog existed... Actually is it the same dog from the Mask? Maybe The Asmus Milo will work...

Thanks for the heads up on those pieces man! Will definitely be grabbing a cross!! As for Milo, after looking at some pics of him with the Mask character, he seems a bit too small of a dog, I think the one in Snatch is bigger. I am now on the hunt for the correct dog. Instead of searching 1/6 scale I'm just looking at figurines of Staffordshire Bull Terriers which apparently is the breed from Snatch!
