MISSILE LAUNCHER weathering
1. Usually customize my pieces before I usually take a bath with Purple Power (engine cleaner) to remove the oiliness of the pieces, especially the resin.
2. Then do a cleanup if necessary with a very fine sandpaper to remove possible remains of plastic and imperfections.
3. I let the pieces into the solution, then scrub with an old toothbrush.
4. Then wash and dry thoroughly, then apply the primer usually I apply one to two layers.
5. Then I applied a layer of brown
6. After I applied the hair spray, immediately applied the salt in the points where I wanted to simulate wear.
Important: The hair spray should still be wet when you put the salt.
7. After all thoroughly dried I applied two to three thin coats of white.
8. After drying the retreat with a salt with a brush or old toothbrush.
9. After some hours drying ..... comes the cool part ...
The weathering, I make this with:
I used Tamiya paints, acrylic, oil, graphite powder, brushes, sponges, etc.
