Modified Medicom Ultraman C-Type

This is the Medicom Ultraman C-Type figure.

Unlike the A-Type - this figure sports a thin rubber body suit. The Suit has molded musculature details.

It's an awesome looking figure. The rubber suit restricts his poseablility considerably. But it's understandable as a rubber suit looks more true to the real C-Type suit then a latex/spandex suit.

I didn't need to ad bulk to the upper body on this figure since the muscles are there. But I did fill out the muscle areas with a sponge material so that those areas don't fold in and looks "flat" and empty when bent.

I'll likely pad out his thighs, too. A bit too skinny there. This guy can still be had for around 150.

LOL. I'll take that as a complement. But YOU of all people knows how good Medicom is at 1/6 scale clothes/uniforms

So if you were to recommend one figure which would it be... the A or C type? I think I might prefer the poseablility of the A... but those rubber suits are always nice too

I would choose A, too. That spandex suit just looks flawless. And the poseability factor is a plus, too.

AND - the A is cheaper by a 10 or 20 bucks.

I say grab one now if you can - I think they will be hard to get soon.

I have had the C-Type for some time now and love it. I just wish I could get him to do his famous crossed hands pose but the suit won't allow it.I actually thought I was the only person on this board that had one.Would love to have Zoffy and Hyata but the prices are outrageous.

This line is under-appreciated (IMO). I was surprised when I did a search of SSC and couldn't find any postings about them.

Those 2 are the most expensive around followed by Ultraman Imit.

I'd like for a JAck and Taro to be next. Ace is a meh.
Wonder if they'll ever make the mordern Ultraman. I like the Tigas, Dynas and Gaias too.

A Jack and Taro would be nice. And I don't see why they shouldn't expand the line to include the modern versions.

BTW: I dug up an old Ultraman figure I have. I'm posting a separate thread about it for you specifically. And other Ultraman fans
