Btw, with all this talk of loose joints, is there a good way to make the joints tighter? Glue seems a bit risky.

Thanks for the awesome Xmas present, Mondo!
No issues with getting the swords in the hands or discolored skin, and the face seam isn't very noticable on mine.
Love the paint detail on the shell!

My only complaint is one of the sword blades appears to have a hair dried in the paint. I can feel it when I run my finger over it. Does Mondo offer replacement accessories?

Some paint app flaws on a couple of accessories but all in all this is freakin' rad.

Just got mine today. Really awesome figure. Kinda surprising that I cracked him out almost as soon as the postman left but my hot toys deadpool stayed in the box several hours.

The weight surprised me. For this size figure I would have expected something with lighter plastics and hollow but that isn't the case. Love all the little details and I definitely didn't have a bad brown wash on the front of his shell. I don't know how people could complain about his art box. I opened the shipper and saw it and I just loved it. Fantastic.

Now I can echo some of the remarks others have made. His right leg was shaky within about 30 seconds of checking his posing. Not that it makes a difference because I can still 1 leg pose him on that leg, more an annoyance. The red bandana head is a real ******* to get on. I'm literally shoving my palm down onto the top of his noggin to get it seated. Also there's some pretty bad paint app issues on the bottom of the sword handles and pommels but it kinda adds a worn look to them so that's alright. I haven't tried his swords yet because I wanna hear more about others experiences getting them in the hands.

My question is do others have dents in the actual figure? Like dents with shiny plastic underneath? Are these supposed to be scars or something? I've counted 4 separate spots on his legs with them.

Overall it's a great figure. It has its flaws but what figures don't nowadays. It's exceptionally rare to get one without problems. I don't regret buying any of these figures and Leo totally hits me in the nostalgia button. Bring on the rest, I need my turtles.

Mine has a few of those indented shiny places. From what I can tell they came from the package tray was super tight in those spots. Mine has couple on the legs and a couple on the arms. They line up with places in the tray that were gripping him tight.

Even with the couple issues I've had I still can't stop posing Leo around. He's a blast. Mirage turtles are my favorite turtles still I'm hoping sideshow either replaces my dis colored leg or replaces him for me :fingers crossed:

Making do with what little space I have. I love the height difference between him and my other 1/6th figures. I plan on displaying him with his sword once people can really work out the stiff hand *ba dum tss*

Mine arrived earlier and I'm so frustrated!

I've clearly got issues that will need addressing and being both UK based and going through some tough major family issues this was last thing I needed.

First off the figure is incredible! I love it and it gave me a much needed smile when it arrived earlier.

That said:
1/ There's something bizzare with its left leg and the knee joint. The hinge is showing far below the knee pad. Looks absolutely rediculous in comparison to the other leg.
2/ The wash over the front of the shell or figure in general is horrible on mine. Looks like the pot was spilt over the figure rather than shaded in.
3/ His left hand has white paint spilt on it from his teeth I presume. Managed to scratch a bit off but I can't be bothered to try more.
4/ His elbow pads are not painted the best. I have some green showing.

Going to contact Mondo ASAP to hopefully replace it - just hope they make it easy as this was really a headache I don't need :-(

Sorry to hear about the issues with the figure, mate. I hear ya on some of those. Super frustrating. That knee joint issue sounds terrible. I, too, hated the lazy brown wash over the front shell. It looked nothing like the protos at all. Those had a nice blend and dabbing of paint around edges and details. These have what looks like drips of brown paint down the front of almost all of them (some worse than others).

Yeah I'm out of the MOTU figs. I prob wouldnt have bought the rest of the turtles had I known the quality issues but they are all already paid for.
