It's pretty much the same this differences but but not much I used one of the armors from the deluxe on the original Skeletor.

According to MadHatter (in his Orko video today), it might be a contractual agreement with the licensor that the figures all need to be a minimum base price.

Not sure if that’s true or not - i think he spoke to one of the reps at either Super 7 or Mondo at some convention.

This might actually be my favorite from this line. All the extra paintwork on the hat and hands, where's that detail on the bodies for the other figures?

Also uh... is anyone else watching Masters of the Universe: Revolution? I'm not shilling, just wish I had more folks to talk to about this and most boardies have (understandably) jumped ship after the previous season.

Really, Mondo figures are pretty good they do have their flaws but all around they're pretty solid and they look good in my opinion anyway the price point is a little high but not outrageous. The aftermarket prices are crazy that's why I wish they would give a second chance at some of these figures for some people that didn't get to get one or missed the sale. But now it's owned by Funko and somehow I don't see this being a good thing for the future but I guess we'll find out definitely not as far as delivery goes.

I just haven’t been sold on most Mondo figures because to me they look like overpriced toys rather than true collectibles. I like Orko though.

Yeah you know what it is like the durability like if you compare the durability of Armando figure to a hot toys figure it's a lot more durable and it feels sturdy and I know people can understand what I'm saying if they know they handled both of these figures before. But like I said not many people would do what they're doing and how they're doing it I think they're handling it pretty good they're doing a good job but that's yet to be seen since Funko took over. But yeah I mean as far as quality goes it just feels like a sturdy product if that makes any sense.

I was skeptical about what would happen to Mondo and the potential demise of their 1/6 animated line after Funko acquired them.

But in my opinion, Mondo has increased their output several fold and done some of their best work since Funko bought them.

Just look at the Rogue and Teela figures previewed at Designer Con. Some of the most beautiful 1/6 animated figures ever. Their recent Gambit and Omega Red are solid releases too.

I like their MOTU, XMen and BTAS figures and look forward to their upcoming teased Spider-Man line. I hope we get TMNT too, those haven’t been done in 1/6 (in the animated 80s style).

What a time to be alive to relive all our childhood memories.

Really they didn't do a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the '80s 1/6 scale yet, I thought they did I think I'm probably thinking of the quarter scale Maybe now it's making me think. But yeah I agree

They did 1/6 comic style turtles way back when the first started making 1/6 figures. They did color them differently like the original toys and had multiple heads so they could either be displayed all with their
red or different color bandannas.

Did you order the Standard edition Skeletors direct from Mondo or another store?

I'm not sure if Mondo offered the Standard to other stores (not seeing it on BBTS, Timewalker, etc).
