Although the second photo (Dog-Thing) is a NECA release rather than Mondo.

NECA stuff, the Thing looks really well done. I have been tapering down my NECA stuff to focus on 1/6 scale stuff but the Thing figures just look too good to pass up.

Is there really so little demand for this IP that nobody else wants it? How else has nobody made a figure of this guy?

I don't see even a hint of Kurt Russell in this sculpt.

Mondo really overcharge for the quality of their 1/6 releases - they basically are massively overpriced NECA figures (and not even the really good NECA figures)

I'm glad they never produced that planned Doomslayer. He would have been DOOMED to convention hell.

The Thing remake is one of my favorite movies ever but in this case I have to sadly vote with my wallet, it just doesn't look good enough to justify whatever figures cost nowadays.
