Big surprise I want more Blade Runner collectibles.

But they appear to have the license they released that print. I'd really love a Premium Format Deckard and Roy Batty.

I was wondering about this too.

Before the Ultimate Collector's Edition's release, the license was unavailable. Due to the UCE release however, several licensed items have come out including the poster print.

Has anyone considered pursuing the figure aspects of the license now?

Besides the print, what other licensed items have been released?

HT doing figures is my dream. I'm afraid that's all it'll ever be.

I'm a HUGE Blade Runner fan too guys. I've got the "Android Hunter" Deckard 1:6 scale figure, and two different Roy Batty unpainted head sculpts. I plan on making my own custom 1:6 scale Roy Batty someday. I got the big special edition DVD set for Blade Runner: The Final Cut at work at Best Buy the day it came out! I also got a special movie poster of the cover art by my favorite artist, Drew Struzan for it too. I've loved this movie since first seeing it back in 1981 when I was 10 years old. I could go on and on about it for pages. Harrison Ford IS my favorite actor. He played Han Solo, Indy, and Rick Deckard. Yep, he's the BEST to me! :D

Anyway, check out www.bladezone.com for a comprehensive listing of all things Blade Runner. To me, it is the Ultimate Blade Runner fansite out there today! :D

I'd buy a set of Blade Runner 12" or 1:6 scale figures if Hot Toys, or Sideshow ever made them. Deckard, Batty, Pris, Leon, J.F. Sebastian, Gaff. Oh yeah...I would get them all. No question about it!

Thanks for the link.

Does anyone here work for Sideshow?

I know you can't actually say if there is plans to make these, but perhaps you could just clarify if the licensing issue ever got cleared up so it would even be possible?

Shaithis77 works for Sideshow licensing. He's said more than a few times that they've looked into it with no luck. There's just no licensing for figures.

Although it's been awhile...

But do you know what or who in particular is the problem/hold out? Hot Toys got rights to Alien so it can't be Scott? And SS has rights to Ford's likeness on Indy and he's got Han Solo figures etc, and SS did the Blade Runner artist print so it would seem they were able to sell somthing official...

Someone at sideshow just needs to man up, head into whoevers office runs the show, slap down an Indy figure to show them what they can do and be like "listen up porkchop, were making Blade Runner figures and your gonna get on board or were kicking your monkey ass out of this horse and pony show."

And if they still give you any lip, strap on a raincoat, crank up the Huey Lewis and get to work cause theres no way I'm not getting at least nine characters out of this License.

Deckard, Rachel, Batty, Pris, Leon, Zora, J.F., Gaff, and a Tyrell. Oh yea, and a Spinner.

Don't make me come out of retirement SS. :gun

I think the rights are still owned by Jerry Perenchio and Bud Yorkin (I think they're both in their 80s now). I know they held up the release of the DVDs for years because of rights issues. I thought with the Collector's Edition things might have changed. I don't know. :dunno

You'd like to hope so, you'd like to think as Business men and holding a property as popular as Blade Runner that there's a lot of cash in it for them.

Is not like figures and replica's cheapen a series reputation these days.
