I've been looking forward to the new Asmus Lord of the Rings figures, and their first release is finally here - Morgul Lord! I'm checking him out tonight.

I've also been updating the New York Comic Con coverage, provided by Mr. Chris. You can find all the updates at the usual:

Thanks for reading!

Great Review. I agree with a number of things you said. As the first figure from ASMUS under the Lord of the Rings line, it's quite good. I have high hopes for this line.

Great job (as usual) Michael. :clap

I love that you are not afraid to talk about the bad as well as the good points of the item you are reviewing. :hi5:

After all, we do need to hear about both. :wink1:

Thanks for the link.

Hope you can do a review of the Dark Rider of Mordor PF and Sauron PF someday too.

Michael, Great review, but I was curious to see if you mentioned the electrical tape on the body issue that has come up. You didn't and I don't know if this is because you didn't realize it/were unaware of it, or if your figure doesn't have the tape and the joints aren't loose. If you don't know what I'm refering to please check the figure thread here on the Freaks site.

Looks there are quite some differences in stiffness and posability. My figure topples over in most poses if I am not using the stand. Furthermore, I can't even bend the knees on my figure without excessive force, when I read Micheal using deep poses :horror
