Some of the lightsabers are, the Wedge Antilles and the Utapau Shadow Trooper helmet are because they were exclusives but other than it's pretty easy to come across the rest.

The Shocktrooper scaled helmet is the only rare one. You can get them on Ebay, they're just very $$$.

The Utipau is rare also. It will fetch a higher price. I think there is one on the auction site now. Gentle Giant took over the licence and molds. They have released some new variations like Jango ,Pink and Gold Vader.
I just picked up a Pink Vader for my Daughter.

The Tie is not one of the elusive never released. It was a weekend project that started with a MR Luke and Stormtrooper scaled helmet.

Now that is is a good idea & well executed. If you like buckets go 1:1
I only have the Gree & Stormtrooper from the MR line they seemed a little cheap compared to the original Riddell helmets still nice though

I actully have several 1:1 scale helmets and costumes they are displayed on. I have seen a new line of .45 scale SW helmets. They include AT-AT,Tie,Biker Scout,Royal Guard and maybe afew more. They were coming out of Tawian maybe?

Very cool TIE Pilot. In fact Riddell was supposed to make a .45 TIE Fighter Pilot bucket but they only showed some pics of the proto

As for 1:1 helmets that is the way to go indeed. I got a few Imperial helmets lately and they are awesome!

I will post pics of the inside. Used the guts out of the stormtrooper helmet and some from a Riddell mini football helmet. Need to find the siver cogs.

I've got the exclusive shadow clone and shadow stormtrooper helmets I'm selling for $60 each. Some mini sabers are rarer than others like the CS kits. And yes, the 1:1 is waaaayy better than the minis.

Also you should try to find some black ribbed hoses to install instead of the dual microphones. TIE Pilots didn't have microphones but hoses:

I do like the hose Idea ,but was going for the original Riddell Tie Pilot look. There were 3-6 Tie Pilot helmets produced as test. I think the molds are done in the hands of GG. I have seen one of the production test .45 helmets and used the pictures I took of it for reference.

Hopefully GG is done with the scaled helmet license, since they failed to produce a product line.
