I was wondering if Sideshow has ever talked about doing anymore musical artist representations, either current or of previous eras in 1/4 scale/PF. I know they did Elvis but has anyone else ever been mentioned? I'm sure icons would sell. Or even actors/actresses. It seems strange that Madame Tussaud wax museums are such massive attractions in different continenets but Sideshow hasn't branched out into this sort of thing with their polystone sculpting. I think it could bring in a whole new audience/customer demographic.

Obviously the ultimate for me anyway, would be the Beatles...
Which is never going to happen...

But it's not impossible to get music licenses and likeness.

Look at McFarlane...they went nuts with that for a while and I had them all. Metallica, Alice Cooper, Jimi Hendrix, Lots of Elvis, Kurt Cobain etc.

I've got the KISS PF's and are some of my faves.

There can be a market for it. I'm not just a geek for movies and fantasy and comics.
I'm also heavy into music, instrument playing and recording and concerts.
I want more icons!!!

Seems reminiscent of the Disney stuff they're selling--there is a huge potential market, but not a ready made one and I'm not sure it would be worth their while to invest the resources it would take to try and develop a collector base. Hot Toys' modest success with their last few Michael Jackson figures speaks to this I think.
