Still working on this. Got my Ezio boot sleeves today. Don't know if I should paint them black or darker brown to match the leather belts. Let me know what you think. Also took photos with some of my other Marvel figures so you can see the size difference.

Used a Thor key-chain for the rock pile.

Where did you get the cool keychain at?

Is it metal or plastic?

Get rid of the sculpted loop on the end and put a leather loop through the hole on the end. Wrap some leather strapping on the handle and that would be an awesome little hammer.

Got it off Amazon, but I've seen it else wher. Only cost me $7.95. A lot cheaper then try to buy a second Hot Toys hammer. And it's all metal. Weights about the same as the HT hammer.

Thanks, I like it. I did dermal a little inside of the head, but guess need to do a little more. unfortunately I think everybody's going to have the same problem with the new True Type Muscle bodies.

Nice, that would make a nice comic version companion piece.

And I just ordered one...:)

Not a fan of the chain-mail pants, they also make the boots look like wellies ..i do however like the chain-mail on the arms and the added bulk, i also agree with Mike ..do something about that long neck!

Wellies? Not familar with that term.

Top looks good, the added bulk really befits Thor and that's something he really needed. The belt mod was a good idea :rock

I'm w/ Calcifer on the pants and the skirt, kills the bottom and makes the boots look bad as well.

Cool, thanks. If I can find some pants that look good and fit the T800 fat a$$ I might change them. But what do you guys think of the helmet mod?

Re: My bash using the Hot Toys Thor & T800

I love what you did. I love the chainmail on the legs, I always thought the T-800 body could've used some definition like the Bruse Lee body. The material on the legs makes them look more dynamic. I also appreciate the extra material you put around the tops of the boots. White wings on the helmet? You really went all out. Looks very classic Thor. That keychain hammer is great, a perfect substitute to the Hot Toys one. It even has the writing on it. I may have to pick it up. Great work all around.

Thanks. You know when I knew I did a good job on my Thor, when my grandson's told me they liked my Thor. I asked the, "more then when I took him out of the box." And the answer was, "Yes." Really put a smile in my heart. They love my collections and can look at it all day long. Their 4, 5 and 12 years old by the way.

Your grandsons have good taste. Aesthetically I think this looks better with the chainmail on the arms and legs. It makes the contrast with the red cape more striking. It also makes him look more like a timeless warrior.

Thanks, they do know their Super Heroes. Even my two year old granddaughter starts yelling Ironman or Spiderman when she sees them on Tv or in photos.
