My Berserker review

I've been rough on several of the recent Premium Format releases from Sideshow: Bruce Lee, Terminator, Dr. Zauis - but that streak of less than spectacular releases ends tonight. Their newest Lord of the Rings release is the Berserker Uruk-hai, and I couldn't be much happier.

There's a couple issues of course, but they're very minor compared to the overall effect of this outstandind statue. In fact, I'm liking this guy better than Lurtz!

Nice review as usual MC. However I repectfully disagree with your view that the 'Zerk pips Lurtz in the better PF stakes. Lurtz is still no1 in my book, but not by much!


Bring on a Boromir SS, and give us that rich costuming

Berserker doesn't wear ridiculously blue undies though ....

Definately one of SS's very best PFs, from the sculpt, paint and costuming; it's just about flawless.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but,does anyone know where I might be able to get the exclusive of this? Is evilbay the only option?

I would get the regular version, but this piece just begs to be displayed with the severd head. I also want the Lurtz exclusive, which I also believe should be displayed with his bow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I unfortunately came into the game very late.

Try the Waitlist, I believe it was close to 30 that SS had announced came available last newsletter; your chances are still somewhat good. Agreed though, the EX is a must-have!
