Once I saw the IDM Customs Lone Ranger, I was inspired to create my own seeing as I didn't have the funds at the time for to purchase that great custom.
Here are some pictures:
Here is the recipe for anyone that would like to try their own:
The coat, reworked neckerchief, boots and spurs were from Battlegear Toys.
The shirt was originally a white snap shirt that I had in a bin. I removed the snaps, painted it blue, and put some thread through it for the tie.
The mask, holster and guns were from the Disney 12” Lone Ranger doll. The hat was a from a GI Joe Walmart exclusive sheriff. The gloves were from the Brother Production James Bond. I used a Hot Toys Wolverine body and a Hot Toys Perseus head.
The Disney store 12" Lone Ranger definitely has kitbash potential. While it is practically on a Ken doll type, the clothes do fit on a Hot Toys figure and I really like the mask.
I am sure I will do upgrades once the Hot Toys Ranger is released but I am happy with him for now
Hi-Yo, Silver! Away!
