tell me what you guys think?

oh yeah and I used NO reference pictures... because my internet was down.. I only used Andy's sculpt and the hot toys sculpt for reference

Not bad, but to me either the eyes are too high up on the head or the nose is too long.

For a first sculpture thats a very good effort VS! but those pics you've taken reminds me of Easter Island Statues!! :D

I suggest you keep hammering at it before you bake it....
If your tired take a break... the next day you wake up fresh and keep going at it... thats how you improve

no, I only had 1 bb of each... lol they're different colors. but the contrast colors did help a bit.

tweaked.. I shortened the nose and fixed the lips.... added the ears.

thanks! i doubt i'll get that far... this is just a practice headsculpt.. i don't think its good enough to get painted.

Are you looking at the 3/4 view off the sculpt, because to be honest with my critic, I think the sculpt looks a bit flat... I think the 3/4 view is critical to a likeness as it help give the fullness to the contrast of the facial features... I learnt that from my dabble in sculpting (Christopher Reeve, see link in my signature)...

Now, I'm not a greatest sculptor to be giving advice, but all I remember about showing my work; is how the criticism help me get better and see the things I was missing. Basically if you're staring at the sculpt for hours on end and focusing too much on one element of the likeness, you miss other aspects of the likeness, which can be critical to the success of capturing the likeness.

I hope this helps... because it's looking good!
