I have always painted props and costume pieces, but I have never attempted to paint a 1/6 scale head.

I made a few castings of the bank robber joker head (because I'm not going to ruin the original) so I could practice on those. I used the interrogation look on this head, even though it doesn't match the scene, this was just more about seeing if I could paint this small or not.

In the end I know I now need to get some of those magnifying goggles and some spotter brushes, but I think this didn't turn out too bad. I was trying to paint the eyes with a much larger brush and was getting nowhere, so I think the spotter brushes will be the way to go.

Comments welcome, just don't bee too harsh, ha!!

Yeah my first time on 1/6, but I can't hold a candle to guys like Nathan and Josh, I have heads with both of them right now being painted.

I'd kill to have half the painting talent they have. To be able to put eyelashes, irises and all that detail in a tiny space is incredible.

This is the kind of stuff I paint, larger props where I have a much larger area to work with.
