OK Guys,
so this is my very first WIP Repaint of Indy...
I haven't done the eyes yet, but man!! What a huge difference!
As I said, this is the first time I'm doing a re-paint so bear with me,
any comments and suggestions are more than welcome.
Next step is changing the body!

BTW, a question to any of our talented customizers here, do you use any specific kind of coat after your done repainting a headsculpt?
Which one do you recommend that has a matte finish?

Thanks and enjoy!!

Looks great Kuzeh! damn dude this is your first re-paint!? that's amazing man you have skills :rock

Awesome repaint, especially if it's really your first. Congrats! I might be wrong, but I think you should've started with the base body you wanted and THEN painted up the head to match because now you're going to have to find a body tan enough to match your paint job or you'll have to repaint the body a little which means having to duplicate the paint scheme/colors you used for the head. Big difference though.. re-doing the eyes will help it further too: get rid of that fake dot! :lol

Bravo!!!, Great Job, what was your paint scheme technique, please explain, what colors and paint did you use to get that tan color, did you washes or dry brushing.

Thanks for all the comments!

I know how to paint a little, and I did a few scale miniature model painting a few years back, but other than that, I'm new to this!!

Thanks!
Actually I was already planning on painting the new body's neck as well,
The dot has to go!! But I need to buy a very fine brush...

Wow amazing job!
Congrats on having one of the bust indy sculpts around
I actually bought 2 extra hat-heads for cheap on Ebay,
if they turn out as good I might offer them here!

The complexion is damn near perfect, amazing for your first repaint!

Thanks man!! :rock!

We'll, it's hard to explain how I do it, but I mostly use dry brush...
The tan I got it by mixing ocre, with white and brown colors...
I also added a little bit of red in the ears, and around the nostrils, as well as on the scar.
I'm still not 100% sure this is done, but close enough!!
Thanks for the kind comments!

Very nice. With the eyes, my suggestion is to get rid of the white dot and leave the rest of it as is. Of course, with a swipe of clear coat to catch the light.

Here's a quick pic of my WIP customized Indy!
So far:
- Re-painted head (wip)
- New body, Soldier Story (looks amazing!)
- New shirt, darker tan color
- New boots (not screen accurate, but look much better than molded ones)

What do you guys think??!!

Looks great, Kuzeh. The body seems perfect. Not too skinny, not too Ah-nuld. The last pic looks awesome! Spot on from Raiders.
